2021.10.25 17:42 MrMiagi123 Simple Notes - old list behaviour?
A recent update has changed the behaviour of list notes. I use it as a shopping list mostly, is there a way to get the old behaviour back? Mostly referring to ticked off items dropping to the bottom of the list (with shopping lists you have recurring items). I use custom sort to arrange items in the order I'll get them in the store, previously any items I tapped on would go to the bottom of the list. Now they remain in their custom sorted place.

2021.10.25 17:42 imperialtrace What do you look for in a good Primer?
For the uninitiated, a "Primer" is a detailed explanation of how to pilot a deck alongside the deck list (usually provided by the deck creator).
There's a bit of ambiguity around what constitutes a Primer. They can range from entire essays to simple game plans along the lines of "Stall until you find the combo, here's the combo:"
But in general I've noticed that the better-received ones tend to be on the longer side and have detailed explanations on combo lines, different answers to various board states, etc.
So I want to know - what do you look for in a Primer?
Here's one that I've been working on
I usually organize mine into sections:

2021.10.25 17:42 throwramaddie My(f16) mom is threatening to call ICE on another mom for throwing her son a coming-out party
My mom and I don't have a great relationship, and that is putting it really nicely. She's very opinionated and gets upset if you don't want to hear opinions that you didn't ask for, and others in our family have noticed this too and even excluded her from things. One incident was when our cousin got married and mom didn't approve of the fiance because he wasn't religious when she (cousin) grew up religious. So, she went on to call our cousin derogatory names while questioning her judgment during a phone call, and that was pretty much the last straw after our cousin told the rest of our family. That was just the latest thing that happened with family, but even at the holidays, she's usually in the middle of some argument, but the phone call was the last straw. She wasn't invited to the engagement dinner or the wedding or holiday that year, and we haven't been back since although there's talk about a reunion post-covid. Mom also gets into arguments on FaceBook too, and she has the time because she doesn't work. The only work she does, is preparing for her women's group at church because she's a leader and my dad is a deacon. She also posts a lot on social media (Instagram/Facebook) about various scriptures/blogs/daily devotions along with her opinions about topics such as abortion and politics, and she has also led our church's youth purity talks for the girls a few times too
I could say more, but I'll get to the issue now. My mom has a friend (Carrie) who she used to know before she got married and became a stay-at-home mom, and they have remained close throughout the years. Carrie has been a part of a few of our life events, and when my younger brother (James, 15) had his first communion, she and her son (Nick, 14) were there. They don't go to church, but they come for major things like when my dad became a deacon and sometimes for the holidays, and they have always been our family friends. We have also invited them to take food from our church's pantry along with buying them dinner when things were sometimes tight or driving Nick to something when she couldn't. However, the problem started when we received an invitation to Nick's coming out party that she was throwing him, and mom has since told James that they're not invited over anymore and that she doesn't want him hanging out with him. James is also upset because they were gonna share Halloween together, but she has been upset/disappointed since receiving the invitation and has made it the latest target of her nonsense. Mom spoke about how she was "disappointed" in her friend at one of her women's meetings at the church along with how she was wrong to support him for being gay and a bunch of other things that just degraded them. She also said that it was important to pray for them, but that she wouldn't associate with them until they came around because she "felt led to do that" and whatnot, and she also posted about it too
Mom has been transfixed on this party nonstop, and she's also been arguing with James about how she won't let them be friends anymore. Mom has also taken to her socials to write about her "disappointment" which was a summary of her speech pretty much, but she hates that the party is happening and even wrote that it's "encouraging bad things". She has also complained about helping them and giving them food because she thought she was being a witness. When I told her that I disagreed with not letting them be friends and dissing her at church and online, she just wouldn't hear me and asked "who am I listening to" and that "I should know better" because of how I was raised. I tried to talk to dad too, but he just goes to work and lets her say whatever she wants, and when I try to push him on it, he'll say "it's disrespectful to talk to one parent about the other" just to get out of it every time. However, she also said that she's considering calling ICE because they should "know better" after "all she's done for her", and that's when I went off on her. When I asked her how she could even consider doing that, she just repeated herself about how they were "wrong" and "being bad parents" and that she knows they're undocumented which I can't confirm or deny, but she says that she knows and that she's considering telling Carrie to not have the party or else she'll do that, although she's also said that she just might call them anyway because "the damage has already been done", and I've always had a thing against her, but this is what made me hate her, and I really need help. I talked to dad about what she said, but he doesn't care and also agreed that they were doing a "bad job parenting", and James is not himself. They've always hung out together until recently. But who can I talk to about what she's planning to do? I was thinking someone at school, but I wanted to ask how to approach it/have before I do just to make sure I don't miss anything. I was also thinking family because they know how mom is, but I don't know how much they can do or anyone honestly. I just need help and soon before the party which is after Halloween, so I have some time, but not a lot. Can I use the summary of mom's speech that she posted online in some way to do something despite mom not mentioning them by their names? Is there anything I can do because I'm scared she'll go through with this, simply because she feels betrayed by Carrie's support for her son after everything she did to help them, which is just wrong
TL;DR: My mom's best friend had her son recently come out, and she is throwing him a coming-out party. However, mom has been fixated on the party and thinks that supporting him is being a "bad parent" among other things, and she told others in her women's group about it too. However, she said that she's considering calling ICE on the boy's mom because she disapproves, and I don't know what to do

2021.10.25 17:42 LionTamerSandwich Has anyone with allergies experienced bubbles popping in their nose? Not sure if I should go see and ENT?
So for a few months now I've been experiencing the sensation of bubbles popping deep in my nose. Like up between my eyebrows. It's been keeping me up at night and driving me insane during the day. I've been to 2 urgent care doctors, neither of whom have really understood the symptoms I'm describing. One put me on a short round of Amoxicillan in case it was a sinus infection, because I have a history of those, didn't help but did give me amazing reflux. The other told me to just use allergy spray for 30 days, which I was already using, and it hasn't really helped either. I was also using a neti pot between these 2 visits, which definitely cleared out some gunk, but the popping persists.
I've had allergies my whole 32 years, and I have no idea what's causing it, but so far OTC solutions aren't solving the problem. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? Should I just go to an ENT?
